Continue to Tus, where you’ll visit the mausoleum of Ferdowsi, the legendary author of the Shahnameh (Book of Kings), the national epic that preserved the Persian language and identity for over a thousand years.

Later, fly to Shiraz, the cultural capital of Persia.

Shiraz: Islamic Heritage, Persian Gardens & Shah Cheragh

Begin the day at the breathtaking Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, famously known as the Pink Mosque, where colorful stained-glass windows illuminate the prayer hall with spectacular morning light.

Continue to Narenjestan Garden, a beautiful Qajar-era residence surrounded by fragrant orange trees.

Pay your respects at the tomb of Hafez, Iran’s most celebrated poet, before continuing to one of the spiritual highlights of the journey.

In the afternoon, perform ziyarat at the Holy Shrine of Shah Cheragh, the resting place of Sayyid Ahmad ibn Musa (AS), brother of Imam Reza (AS). The shrine’s magnificent mirror-work, peaceful atmosphere, and deep spiritual significance make it one of the holiest sites in Iran.

Persepolis, Pasargadae & Journey to Yazd

Travel toward Yazd, stopping first at the legendary Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire founded by Darius the Great.

Marvel at the monumental palaces, magnificent reliefs, and impressive staircases that once welcomed delegations from across the ancient world.

Continue to Naqsh-e Rostam, where the monumental rock-cut tombs of Darius the Great and three other Achaemenid kings dominate the landscape.

Today is dedicated to exploring magnificent Naqsh-e Jahan Square (Imam Square), one of the world’s largest historic public squares and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Visit the spectacular Imam Mosque (Shah Mosque), considered one of the greatest masterpieces of Islamic architecture with its breathtaking blue domes and intricate tilework.
